Job Description
HV Cable Puller - SGRE WTG | Middlesbrough
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced HV Cable Pullers to support a major offshore wind project in the UK.
The role is based in Middlesbrough, working on SGRE (Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy) wind turbine generators. This is a 12-month contract, commencing early September 2026, with a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation and 12-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out HV cable pulling and installation within SGRE wind turbine generators.
Handle, route and position HV cables in accordance with project procedures and technical requirements.
Work safely as part of a specialist turbine installation team.
Follow cable pulling procedures, HSE requirements and site-specific instructions.
Complete required SGTT training and competency requirements.
Maintain a high standard of safety, quality and workmanship throughout the project.
Requirements
Proven experience as an HV Cable Puller on SGRE offshore wind turbines/WTGs.
Previous experience with HV cable handling, routing and installation.
SGTT training/experience is highly desirable; candidates must be willing to complete the required SGTT training.
Strong safety awareness and ability to work effectively within a team.
Professional English communication skills (B1/B2 minimum).
Full UK right to work.
Availability for the full 12-month contract from August 2026.
