£30,000 - £35,000
Bedford – office based (Mon-Thu 9-5 / Fri 9-4:30)

We are seeking a CAD/CAM Programmer to join a collaborative design team. If you have a strong background in Solidworks and extensive experience with CNC production programming, this role could be a great fit for you.
Key responsibilities for a CAD/CAM Programmer
* As a CAD/CAM Programmer, you will play a crucial role in transforming design concepts into high-quality, precision-engineered components.
* You'll work closely with designers and engineers to program CNC machinery and prepare sheet metal designs using relevant software.
* Creating accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure efficient production, with a strong focus on efficiency, accuracy, and excellence in every project.
* Create, test, and refine CNC programs using various CAD/CAM software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and TruTops Boost
Key skills for a CAD/CAM Programmer
* Proven track record of using Solidworks.
* A strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tooling.
