CAD Design Technician
Colchester, Essex
£30,000 - £35,000 + Bonus + Training + Progression + 31 days Holiday
Are you a CAD designer looking to progress your career in a highly reputable company? Do you have prior experience within a Building services/Construction/Architectural setting? Do you have experience working with packages such as AutoCAD and Revit?
Well we are working with a great company who are looking for a Talented CAD technician to join the business and contribute to their continued success.
The Role:
Produce layout drawings and calculations using AutoCAD / Autodesk Revit / Microsoft Excel for precast products.
Contact Clients, Architects & Engineers via telephone/email to obtain design details, comments /approval of working drawings
Amend drawings in accordance with Client's instructions
Issuing manufacturing schedules to our factories
Issue drawings with covering letters/emails
Update Database
The Candidate:
Previous building design/construction experience preferable
High level of computer literacy with good working knowledge of a variety of computer packages including Auto Cad, Revit, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
A confident and professional telephone manner
Attention to detail is essential
Self-motivated, methodical approach with focus on customer service
