CAD DESIGNER – FABRICATOR WANTED
Design it. Draw it. Bring it to life.
📍 Laindon office based| Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
Salary £25k - £32K plus DOE

🛠️ The Role
As a Fabrication Designer, you’ll be at the heart of custom creations. From drawing board to factory floor, your designs will guide the production of beautiful, functional, one-of-a-kind pieces.
You'll work hand-in-hand with sales teams, senior designers, and skilled fabricators, gaining support and mentorship along the way.
🧩 What You’ll Do
🎯 Turn concepts into scaled technical drawings and 3D visualisations
🗣️ Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers
📏 Visit sites, take measurements, and refine your designs
💻 Use Inventor and CAD software to develop practical, build-ready drawings
💬 Learn quoting and costing tools (we’ll train you!)
🧾 Help prepare project packs and track approvals
💡 What We’re Looking For
A detail-focused, design-savvy mind with a hands-on attitude
Experience in fabrication, architecture, or technical drawing
Inventor/CAD skills are a plus
Eager to learn quoting systems (like Sage 200)
Confident communicator who thrives in a team setting
