Job Type: Full Time/Perm

Salary: Dependent on skills and experience

Location: Peterborough

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a CAD Engineer to join our specialist and experienced Building Services company providing to the Energy, Food Processing and Pharmaceutical Industry with a unique service. We provide a unique service from concept, advising and partnering with our clients to ensure the correct mechanical and electrical solution bespoke to their needs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  * Creation of 3D models using AutoCAD Plant 3D

  * Create and modify 2D plans using AutoCAD

  * Create and modify 2D P&IDs using AutoCAD

  * Display and coordination of 3D Models using Autodesk Navisworks

  * Responsible for layouts and design of equipment, pipe supports, process and utilities pipework.

  * Prepare and update layout, installation, and 3D drawings for projects

  * Review plans, specifications and other customer documentation

  * Liaise with external clients and team members

  * Managing customer requirements and expectations with respect to CAD in accordance with ISO9001

  * Understanding and incorporating client designs

  * Creation of drawings

  * Issuing drawings

  * Stakeholder Management skills and self-motivated and able to work autonomously, to deadlines and within budget.

Experience:

  * AutoCAD (from version 2016) Software Training

  * 5 Years CAD / Navisworks experience

  * CSCS card

  * HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering preferred, although other engineering qualifications will be considered.

  * Full clean Driving license
