CAD Engineer
Grantham, Full Time, Permanent
£30,000
Our Grantham based Client is looking for a CAD Engineer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
The ideal CAD Engineer will have AutoCAD experience and knowledge of electrical systems.
THE ROLE
Your responsibilities as a CAD Engineer will include:
* Using AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks 3D to produce detailed sketches.
* Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials from engineering and product drawings.
* Assist with documentation and data management in engineering change processes.
* Support cross-functional teams with drawing updates and design revisions.
* Interpret design inputs and sketches to develop comprehensive CAD models and documentation.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal CAD Engineer will be able to demonstrate 2 years similar experience and the following key skills and experience:
* Proficient in AutoCAD
* Familiar with SolidWorks and basic 3D modelling concepts.
* Strong attention to detail
* Good communication and collaboration skills
* 2 years of relevant industry experience in CAD drafting or design
* A background or interest in electrical systems and the ability to read electrical schematics will be considered an asset.
