Who we are looking for
We are looking for people who have experience 6 months + experience with 2D.
Necessary experience:
* 2D
Advantageous experience:
* Solidworks
* Sheet Metal / Fabrication Industry
* Boost software
* Lantec software
About the role
Location: Maidenhead
Type: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours basic / any hours over at time and a half
Salary: ~£14-£15 ph
We have a workshop-based role available within a Sheet Metal, Laser and Fabrication company. The role will involve using CAD knowledge and experience to programme various laser and sheet metal machines to produce parts as per Draughtsman’s drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interpret technical drawings provided by the Draughtsman to accurately programme CNC laser and sheet metal machines.
* Utilise CAD/CAM software to generate efficient, precise cutting and fabrication programmes.
* Collaborate with production teams to optimise job setup, tooling, and material usage.
* Ensure all machine programmes are delivered on time and meet strict quality standardsBefore You Apply
