Job Description
CAD Technician / Draughsperson required - South Side, Glasgow
Tec-source require an experienced CAD Tech/Draughstperson for a position based Southside in Glasgow.
This is a wastewater treatment works site.
* Basic CAD knowledge – Competent in using CAD software to produce and edit technical drawings.
* Understanding of electrical circuits – Able to interpret and work with basic electrical schematics and layouts.
* Diagram production – Capable of creating:
* Cable block diagrams
* Straight line diagrams
* Field wiring diagrams
* Working to standards – Must be able to follow Scottish Water’s WIEMS specification.
* Documentation and drawing updates – Able to:
* Update or create cable schedules
* Amend existing drawings as required
* Create cable tray design drawings
* Produce cable route drawings
This is a long term role - duration 12 months +
