CAD Technician
Cardiff
£29'000 - £31'000per annum + pension, share scheme and more.

Excellent training and developmentRoles & Responsibilities:
Develop detailed and accurate 2D drawings of door assemblies, frames, hardware, and related components using CAD software, based on project specifications and client requirements.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant fire, security, acoustic, and performance standards.
Update and amend drawings to assist in achieving project approval and status A sign off.
Modify existing drawings to reflect changes in project scope or specifications.
Document all revisions and communicate updates effectively to relevant stakeholders.
Produce standard detail drawings showing various project specification details.
Liaise with project teams to understand requirements and timelines, resolve technical queries, and support smooth project deliveryKnowledge, Skills & Experience:
Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, or similar).
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all drawings and revisions.
Experience of design or manufacture of sheet metal products
Competent at identifying and rectifying errors or discrepancies.
Strong problem-solving skills, systematic and logical approach.
Collaborative team player with dedication to delivering results.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Good general IT skills (MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
