Job Description

CAD Technician Job in Ferndown

We are proud to be representing our well established and successful manufacturing client in Ferndown. They are a specialist within the construction industry, and they are looking to recruit a new a CAD Technician to join the team. The role of the CAD Technician will be to work within their existing contracts team.

Salary and Benefits:

  * A salary of £26,000 - £30,000 per annum

  * Monthly payment intervals

  * Working Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week, between 8.00 am – 4.30 pm

  * Company pension scheme

Duties and Responsibilities:

  * Managing projects from initial design stage through to manufacture

  * Producing drawings using AutoCAD

  * Preparing Technical and Sample submittals

  * Liaising with Contractors, Architects and End Users

  * Document management utilising online Intranet based document control systems

  * Preparation of associated documentation to ensure compliance

  * Liaison with manufacturing partners

Skills and Experience:

  * Previous background within the Construction Industry would be desirable

  * Experience of working with AutoCAD

  * Focused team player

  * Commercially aware

  * Ability to work under pressure and to precise deadlines

  * Ability to instigate changes for continuous improvement

  * Excellent communication skills

  * Full product and system training will be provided

  * No known health risks for this role
