CAD Technician

Location: Braintree, Essex

Salary: Competitive & Benefits

We’re looking for an entry level CAD Technician to join our Asset team, supporting Gas, Fibre, Water, and Electrical infrastructure projects. You’ll play a key role in producing accurate as-laid drawings and maintaining essential network records

The Person

  * Producing digital as-laid drawings from site sketches & GPS data

  * Using AutoCAD (2D) to create and update technical drawings

  * Ensuring drawings are accurate and delivered to deadlines (KPIs/SLA’s)

  * Maintaining drawing records and internal databases

  * Working closely with technical, operations, and client teams

  * Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

  * Good IT skills (MS Office)

  * AutoCAD preferred but not essential

  * Excellent communication and teamworking skills

  * Utilities or construction experience (desirable, not essential)
