CAD Technician – Kitchen Design & Manufacturing
Location: West Midlands
Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 (depending on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
KBB Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established kitchen design and manufacturing company that is looking to add a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician to their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with CAD experience and a passion for kitchen or furniture design to join a friendly, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Liaising with customers to understand and develop bespoke kitchen designs
*
Arranging installations and deliveries, with occasional site visits
*
Checking kitchen orders against technical drawings and plans
*
Producing kitchen designs using CAD/CAM software
*
Developing new furniture designs using CAD
*
Administering kitchen orders and handling general office duties
Key Attributes:
*
Highly numerate, organised, and IT literate with strong attention to detail
*
Flexible and able to manage a variety of tasks as needed
*
Works well independently and as part of a team
*
Professional, helpful, and confident communicator, particularly over the phone
*
Able to handle tasks accurately and efficiently under time constraints
Skills & Experience Required:
*
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
*
Experience using CAD software and/or kitchen planning tools
*
Previous experience in planning and administering kitchen orders
*
Full UK driving licence
