As a Calibration Engineer you will:
Collaborate with Controls Engineers and external ECU suppliers to define system and software requirements.
Test and calibrate control systems and software to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
Develop and execute test plans to verify system and software performance.
Optimise engine calibrations on dyno to achieve performance, efficiency, and emissions targets.
Test and calibrate hydrogen-based electric powertrain systems, including fuel cells, BMS, and motor-inverters.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues during development phases, driving continuous improvement in processes.
The Calibration Engineer will have:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in engine performance calibration and/or electric powertrain testing.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and derive technical insights.
Organisational skills to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A problem-solving mindset combined with a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
