Calibration Technician – Northampton & Surrounding Areas
Pay: £17 per hour + Lucrative Overtime Rates
Vehicle: Fully Expensed Company Vehicle (with personal use option)
Hours: Full-time, permanent
Travis Talent is delighted to be recruiting for a skilled Calibration Technician to join a leading engineering business covering Northampton and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically minded individual who takes pride in accuracy and quality. You’ll play a key role in ensuring a wide range of customer instruments and equipment are precisely calibrated to the highest standards.
The Role:
*
Carry out calibration work both on-site and at customer locations, ensuring all instruments meet UKAS and traceable standards.
*
Produce accurate certification and maintain up-to-date records using calibration software systems.
*
Support internal teams with technical advice and assistance.
*
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with ISO 17025:2017 standards.
*
Maintain excellent customer relationships through professional communication and reliable service delivery.
About You:
*
You’ll have experience working within a calibration or testing environment.
*
A good understanding of ISO 17025:2017 is essential.
*
Familiarity with electrical, temperature, pressure, or flow calibration will be highly beneficial.
*
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently are key.
*
Strong IT skills and experience using systems such as IndySoft, Salesforce, or Epicor (or similar).
