Job Description
Position: Customer Service Alarm Call Handler
Location: Leicester (Office-based)
Type: Temp to Perm
Pay: £12.62 per hour
Hours: 6 days on / 4 days off (40 hours per week)
Shift Pattern:
2 Early: 7am - 3pm
2 Middle: 3pm - 11pm
2 Late: 11pm - 7am
Includes bank holidays. Please note: this role requires working alone during shifts.About the Role:
We're looking for a confident and dependable individual to join our dedicated team of Alarm Call Handlers. You'll play a vital role in ensuring client safety and maintaining operational standards in a calm, focused environment.
As the first point of contact when an alarm is triggered, you'll follow client-specific procedures to assess and escalate situations as needed. You'll also proactively monitor alarm systems to ensure they're functioning correctly and pose no risk.
Key Responsibilities:
Contact clients to verify alarm status and ensure safety
Respond to alarm activations and follow escalation protocols
Stand down alarms when no threat is present
Handle email queries and maintain accurate records
Ensure 24/7 site coverage with at least one person on dutyWhat We're Looking For:
Experience in call handling or customer service
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable working independently, including night shifts
Strong IT skills and attention to detail
Calm, professional telephone manner
Reliable, trustworthy, and flexible
