Locum CAMHS Practitioner – Neurodevelopmental Focus
Location: Rochdale (NHS Service)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Contract Type: Locum (Temporary)
Pay Rate: £26.00 per hour (via umbrella)

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a CAMHS Practitioner to join a well-established NHS service in Rochdale. This is a full-time locum position, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.
We are seeking a skilled mental health professional with experience in neurodevelopmental assessments, particularly in working with children and young people presenting with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC).
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct both urgent and routine mental health assessments for children and adolescents with moderate to severe mental health needs
Carry out neurodevelopmental assessments for ADHD and ASC as part of a multidisciplinary team
Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with families, schools, and other professionals
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NHS and CQC standards
Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and safeguarding processes
Provide support and guidance to families and carersEssential Requirements:
Professional registration with NMC, HCPC, or Social Work England
Experience working within a CAMHS or paediatric mental health setting
Proven experience in neurodevelopmental assessments (ADHD/ASC)
Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
