CAMPUS ADMINISTRATOR
Contract: Permanent - 37 hours per week
Salary: Points 12 - 20 (25,991 - £31,049)

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and suitably qualified individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to take on this role at our new Leek campus.
Reporting directly to the campus Director you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive secretarial and admin support service.
Duties are varied and include providing a full range of secretarial duties to the Campus Director, organising events, monitoring budget expenditure and allocations, processing orders, invoices and payments as well as dealing with correspondence and as the main contact point for enquiries you will liaise with students, parents, staff and employers.
In addition to a good standard of general education, you should have a relevant business admin qualification along with previous experience of working in a varied and busy administrative and/or secretarial role. You will have a confident manner with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, excellent MS Office Skills (Word, Excel and Access) and will be able to work efficiently to tight deadlines. Hours of work are usually office hours Monday to Friday, but occasional attendance at open evenings and parents evenings will be required.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide a full range of secretarial duties to the Campus Director including the production of confidential letters, emails, reports and presentations all to a very high standard.
Provide an efficient and welcoming point of contact for all visitors, students and staff.
Manage the diary of the Campus Director, which includes making arrangements for conferences.
To work with the Campus Director to check data received from Information Services regarding student numbers, retention and achievement on courses and ensuring the prompt return of updated/amended information to Information Services.
To liaise with the Finance Department regarding budget monitoring, orders, requisitions and purchasing procedures.
Produce minutes of meetings held within the College where appropriate.Required Skills and Experience:
Has a good standard of education qualified to level 3 or equivalent and be willing to undertake any relevant professional development.
Has previous experience of working in a varied administrative and/or secretarial role with outstanding organisational skills.
Has a confident manner and able to communicate effectively at all levels showing professionalism to visitors and guests.
