Our client in Wolverhampton is an Established Engineering company supplying high-precision components to the automotive and aerospace sectors. With a commitment to quality, safety, and innovation, we are currently seeking an experienced Capstan setter to join their skilled team.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely and effectively set and operate Capstan lathes to produce precision parts
Monitor machinery during operation and promptly report any issues or irregularities
Check and maintain coolant levels, topping up as required
Take personal responsibility for safety, ensuring adherence to all health and safety protocols
Work collaboratively with management and colleagues, including participation in Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) training and guidance
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar Capstan lathe setting/operating role
Familiarity with precision machining for automotive or aerospace applications is an advantage
A strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail
