Job Description
We're recruiting for a Capstan Team Leader to oversee a small team of 3 operators with our client in Telford. If you’ve got solid Capstan Setter experience and a knack for motivating others, this is a great opportunity to step into a leadership role while staying hands-on.
Responsibilities:

Lead and support a team of 3 Capstan operators on the shop floor
*
Set up and operate Capstan machines to produce high-quality components
*
Monitor production output and ensure targets are met
*
Carry out first-off inspections and maintain quality standards
*
Train and mentor team members to improve skills and efficiency
*
Liaise with supervisors and production planners to coordinate workflow
*
Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Capstan Setter in a manufacturing environment
*
Strong understanding of precision machining and quality control
*
Previous leadership or mentoring experience (formal or informal)
*
Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment
*
Good communication and team-building skills
*
Flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving
Working hours:
* Monday to Friday 07:30-16:00Before You Apply
