Job Description

Are you a dedicated automotive sales professional seeking to advance your career? Our client, a reputable dealership group based in Southampton, Hampshire, is recruiting for a Car Sales Executive. This positions offers an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established dealership representing a renowned vehicle brand, encompassing both electric and internal combustion engine (ICE) models.
 
As a Car Sales Executive, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, guiding customers through their vehicle purchase experience, and building long-term relationships that foster loyalty. This role provides a structured sales environment with ongoing training, incentives, and career development prospects.
 
Benefits:

Basic salary up to £25,000 with on-target earnings of £55,000+ and uncapped commission
Company vehicle
Full sales process training
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 18:00 (regular day off in the week, one-hour lunch), Saturday 08:30 to 17:00, Sunday 10:00 to 16:00 (on a 1 in 3 rotation)
30 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, plus your birthday off

Meet and exceed monthly and annual vehicle sales targets and profitability goals
Promote and sell vehicle warranties, GAP insurance, and finance options
Ensure high customer satisfaction and develop a loyal customer base
Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all products, accessories, and key features
Follow up with potential customers and prospect for new business opportunities
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activitiesRequirements:

Proven sales experience or background in automotive sales preferred
Strong organisational and planning skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work within a regulated and process-driven environment
Self-motivated with proactive follow-up of sales leads
Full UK driving licence
