Care Assistant (Days) – Ilfracombe - trainees considered
Pay: Competitive rates starting from £12.21 per hour
Hours: 36 hours per week
Shifts: 8:00am–8:00pm, 8:00am–2:00pm, and 2:00pm–8:00pm (varied shift pattern)
Setting: Small, privately owned residential home specialising in elderly care

The Role
We’re looking for caring and dedicated Day Care Assistants to join our team. You’ll play a vital part in helping residents enjoy each day to the fullest, ensuring their comfort, safety, and wellbeing.
Main Responsibilities
Support residents with personal care, dressing, mobility, and daily routines.
Encourage and assist residents to take part in activities and social interactions.
Provide companionship and emotional support, helping to promote a positive atmosphere.
Assist with mealtimes and refreshments, ensuring dietary needs are met.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records.
Work closely with colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality care.
Help to keep the home clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors.
About You
Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Previous care experience is helpful but not essential – full training is provided.
Flexible and committed to delivering person-centred care.
