About the Role:
We are currently seeking caring and dedicated Day Shift Care Assistants to join our clients team at a well-respected residential care home in Weymouth. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide person-centred care and support to vulnerable individuals in a warm, supportive environment.
We offer flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle – including long day shifts, early mornings, or afternoon/evening shifts, ideal for those looking for part-time work or work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, compassionate care tailored to residents’ individual needs.

Assist with daily routines such as personal hygiene, dressing, eating, and mobility.

Support residents in social and recreational activities during the day.
*
Accurately record care notes and communicate effectively with colleagues and senior staff.
*
Help maintain a safe, clean, and homely environment.
*
Build trusting, respectful relationships with residents and their families.
Requirements:
*
A caring and empathetic nature
*
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service – mandatory for supporting vulnerable adults.
*
Up-to-date Care Certificates – preferred.
*
Experience in care is an advantage, but not essential for the right person with a passion for helping others.
*
Flexibility to work various shifts, including early starts or late finishes.
*
Good communication and teamwork skills.
