Are you an experienced culinary professional who is tired of late-night closes, endless split shifts, and the unsociable hours of traditional catering? We are searching for a dedicated Head Chef or Kitchen Manager to join our friendly catering team at a modern, purpose-built Care Home in Kingston.

Our beautiful 35-bedded Care Home is designed to provide outstanding facilities for residents, with a bright and spacious kitchen, comfortable dining areas, and access to a lovely courtyard and garden. As Head Chef, you will take pride in leading our small kitchen team, supported by a Kitchen Assistant, to deliver nutritious, well-balanced, and delicious meals every day.
The Head Chef role is about more than just cooking, it’s about creating enjoyable mealtimes and ensuring residents look forward to every dining experience. You’ll have the freedom to use local, fresh produce where possible and design menus that cater for all preferences and dietary requirements, including IDDSI levels. Experience in a Care Home, school, or similar setting would be ideal, but what matters most is your passion, creativity, and genuine care for those you cook for.
This opportunity would suit a talented Sous Chef ready to step up and run their own kitchen, or an established Head Chef or Kitchen Manager looking for a healthier work-life balance without losing the joy of cooking.
What we offer our new Head Chef:
* £18.00–18.50 per hour starting salary
* 40 hours per week across 4 or 5 days
