Operations Manager / Quality Manager – Care Homes Berkshire & Buckinghamshire | Part-Time (3 Days/Week) | £50,000 Pro Rata Operations Manager Care Homes | Quality Manager Elderly Care | CQC Compliance | Governance | Multi-Site Care Home Role Are you an experienced care professional with strong knowledge of CQC compliance, quality assurance and care home governance?We are recruiting a Part-Time Operations Manager / Quality Manager to oversee Nursing and Residential Care Homes for the elderly across Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. This position is ideal for someone looking to work 3 days per week while maintaining a meaningful leadership role shaping the quality and safety of multiple care homes. ⭐ About the Role As our Operations & Quality Manager, you will oversee compliance, audits, quality improvement and service performance across several homes. You will support Home Managers, ensure adherence to CQC standards, and drive continuous improvement across elderly care services. This role involves multi-site support and is essential in helping the organisation maintain Good and Outstanding CQC ratings. Key Responsibilities Complete regular quality audits, compliance checks and governance reviews Oversee CQC regulatory compliance, policies, risk management and action plans Support Home Managers to deliver high-quality nursing and residential care Monitor and improve clinical and care standards across all homes Review incidents, complaints, safeguarding concerns and regulatory feedback Lead on CQC inspection preparation, documentation and improvement plans Ensure robust governance systems are in place across multiple services Promote excellence in safeguarding, resident safety and quality of care Provide operational support to ensure smooth service delivery Requirements Strong experience in care home operations, quality management, auditing, or compliance Knowledge of Nursing and Residential Care Home environments Expertise in CQC regulations, quality assurance and elderly care standards Ability to audit services, analyse data, and drive quality improvements Excellent communication, leadership and coaching skills Ability to travel across Berkshire and Buckinghamshire Nursing qualification (RGN/RMN/RNLD) – preferred but not essential Salary & Working Pattern £50,000 per year (pro rata) 3 days per week Mileage/travel support Ongoing training and development Supportive management and organisational culture Location Covering multiple Nursing and Residential Care Homes across Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
