Setting: Residential Home
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Leader to join our team in a warm and supportive residential care home in Thornbury. If you are an experienced Carer or Senior Carer with a passion to make a difference then this role could be for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, support and motivate care staff during shifts, ensuring high standards of care are maintained at all times.
Assist in the development and implementation of individual care plans.
Monitor and evaluate care delivery, making adjustments where necessary.
Administer medication and ensure accurate record-keeping in accordance with care home policies.
Support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager with audits, training, and staff development.
Act as a point of contact for residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Promote a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
Handle incidents and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and willingness to work towards Level 3.
Previous experience in a senior care or supervisory role would be beneficial but not essential.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
