Our client is looking for an experienced and compassionate Care Manager to lead and develop their domiciliary and supported living services in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to make a real impact by delivering safe, person-centered, and high-quality care.
About the Role
In this role as a Care Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of care services, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and promoting a culture of excellence and empathy. The role also offers a clear development pathway towards becoming a Registered Manager, with full training and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, support, and supervise care staff to deliver consistent, high-quality services.
* Manage rotas, care plans, and risk assessments in line with company policies.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and CQC standards.
* Act as the first point of contact for incidents, complaints, and safeguarding matters.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Monitor service performance, conduct audits, and implement improvements where needed.
About You
* NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or willing to work towards it)
* Proven experience in care management or a supervisory position
* In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and best practices
* Skilled in care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication abilities
* Passion for delivering person-centred care and driving service improvement
* Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
