Care Manager - Elderly Residential & Dementia Care
Location: East London
Salary: £39,000 - £40,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
Bright Selection is proud to be recruiting for a Care Manager to join the senior leadership team of a beautifully appointed modern residential and dementia care home in East London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced senior care professional to take the next step in their career, combining direct care leadership with operational oversight. You'll work closely with the Home Manager to ensure exceptional standards of care, regulatory compliance, and a nurturing team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Split role: 50% floor-based care leadership, 50% supernumerary time
Lead on care quality, auditing, and team development
Oversee training and competency assessments, mentoring junior staff
Deputise for the Home Manager in their absence and contribute to governance meetings
Work a rota across 7 days, including alternate weekends
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (essential)
Strong experience leading care teams within residential/dementia settings
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Passion for person-centred care and team development
