About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Care Manager to lead and manage the delivery of high-quality care and support within our Supported Living Service for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, or complex care requirements.
You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with CQC standards, and delivering person-centred support that promotes independence, choice, and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the supported living service to deliver safe, effective, and high-quality care and support.
*
Manage and support a team of support workers, senior staff, and team leaders.
*
Develop, implement, and monitor person-centred care plans and risk assessments.
*
Ensure all services meet or exceed CQC regulations and company standards.
*
Conduct regular audits, spot checks, and quality assurance reviews.
*
Recruit, supervise, and appraise staff, promoting training and professional development.
*
Build strong working relationships with families, health professionals, and commissioning bodies.
*
Take a lead role in safeguarding, incident reporting, and regulatory compliance.
*
Participate in the on-call rota and respond to out-of-hours emergencies when required.
*
Support the Registered Manager in business development, compliance, and service growth.
Requirements:
Essential:
*
NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (minimum); working towards or willing to work towards Level 5.
*
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role within supported living or adult social care.
*
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, person-centred care planning, and safeguarding processes.
*
Proven ability to manage staff teams and lead service delivery.
*
Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
*
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable:
*
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
*
Experience working with individuals with complex needs, autism, or mental health conditions.
*
Experience with care management software or digital care planning systems.
