We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join a school in the Gravesend area on a part-time basis. This role is offered through Academics Agency and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to support a school environment in a hands-on capacity.
Key Details:
Location: Gravesend, Kent
Pay Rate: From £14.00 per hour
Start Date: Immediate
Hours: Part-time
Requirements: Enhanced DBS and safeguarding training (training can be provided if not already completed)
Responsibilities:
General maintenance and upkeep of school premises
Opening and securing the site each day
Carrying out minor repairs and reporting larger maintenance issues
Ensuring health & safety standards are met
Assisting with deliveries and site security
Requirements:
Previous caretaking, maintenance, or facilities experience (school experience desirable)
Enhanced DBS (essential)
Willingness to complete safeguarding training (essential)
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
