In this exciting and hands-on role as a Caretaker, you’ll be the driving force behind the upkeep and day-to-day running of The Farmstead – a diverse site made up of a café, offices, retail units, community hall and outdoor public areas including an adventure playground and landscaped courtyards. From opening and closing the site, supporting events, and carrying out visual inspections to organising repairs, liaising with contractors, and rolling up your sleeves for basic maintenance and cleaning tasks – this is a varied position where no two days are the same. Previous experience in a similar facilities, caretaking or maintenance role would be a strong advantage, as would a proactive approach and confidence managing H&S responsibilities on-site.
