Job Description
Cargo Operative
We are recruiting for Cargo Operatives for our client based at East Midlands Airport. Our client is looking for Cargo Operatives to work in their warehouse / cargo operation on a fixed days or nights shifts on a long term ongoing basis. This presents the right candidate with the opportunity to join an operation that is growing.
For this role you will need to have a successful DBS check and have 5 year vetting completed.
Shift Patterns / Working Hours:
+ 4 on 4 off (fixed days or nights)
+ Days - 0630 to 1830
+ Nights - 1830 to 0630
The successful Warehouse Operative / Cargo Operative will:
+ Have experience in a warehouse environment
+ Be able to lift up to 25kg
+ Be able to work in a repetitive environment
+ Able to work the above shift patterns
+ Have a positive can do attitude
Your duties as a Warehouse Operative / Cargo Operative will include:
+Breaking down air cargo pallets and re working them to small pallets for dispatch.
+ General warehouse duties as requested
+ Maintain H&S in the warehouse for yourselves and others.
You will receive:
+ £12.50 per hour to £18.75 per hour
