Job Description
Daley Recruitment are seeking experienced Cargo Operatives with FLT Licence to work on a temp to perm basis.
JOB ROLE: Cargo Operative with Counter Balance FLT Licence
LOCATION: Colnbrook SL3
SHIFT PATTERN: 4on4off Days 06:00-18:00 & Nights 18:00-06:00am
SALARY: £26,500 to £27,000 + £2000 shift allowance + X-ray allowance once trained starts from £500 per year
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Previous airfreight handling experience
Full 5 year reference checkable employment history (UK References only)
Basic Criminal Record Check
Valid Counter Balance FLT Licence with at least 12 months practical experience
Valid Right to Work in the UK
DUTIES & PERFORMANCE:
1. Preparing shipments for export (checking manifests / loading / building of export ULD’s):
2. Breaking down and checking in import shipments (loose and ULD’s):
3. Carrying out regular Quality checks (freight on hand etc.):
4. Driving electric counterbalance (3,000kg) diesel counterbalance (12,000kg) and electric reach forklift trucks (1,500kg):
5. General warehouse duties
6. Be responsible to maintain the highest level of cleanliness, Health & Safety & Aviation Security.
7. Control hazardous substances in the area in accordance with EU/EK legislation.
8. Work within a Temperature controlled zone in accordance with GDP legislation
9. Any other reasonable duties, which may be required by the warehouse manager & Team Leader.
