Job Description:
My client is looking for a Skilled Carpenter to work as part of our Repairs and Maintenance Team delivering responsive repairs to tenanted and communal residential properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out a wide range of skilled carpentry tasks, including but not limited to:
Gaining entry for tenants who are locked out
Overhauling and repairing doors and windows
Repairs to kitchen units, floors, staircases, skirting boards, and architraves
Ensure all works are completed to high standards and in line with health and safety regulations
Manage and update job status using a PDA device
Work independently, following lone working protocols where applicable
Provide excellent customer service to tenants while on-site
Tools & Equipment Provided:
Power tools
Uniform
Company vehicle
PDA (Personal Digital Assistant)
Lone working safety device
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience as a skilled carpenter in a repairs and maintenance environment
Must supply own hand tools
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Full UK driving licence preferred (vehicle will be provided)
Enhanced DBS
