Job Description
Our client a Hertfordshire based Construction Main Contractor currently seek an experienced 1st Fix Carpenter for one of their projects in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.
It is essential that you hold a CSCS card and can provide references to back up your 1st fix skill set.
The work itself is a complete rebuild of a large mansion house.
Duties
* Installing roof joists
* Building Roof Structures
* PIR Installations
* All internal first fixing - Frames and Partitioning.
* Perform joinery tasks including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
* Operate power tools safely and efficiently for various carpentry tasks.
* All other associated tasks as instructed
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
* Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to carpentry.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job.
* Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and materials used in carpentry.
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
This is an immediate start for the right candidate and will be up to 1 months work
