WH Bence have an exciting opportunity for a Carpenter to join the team.
Location: Yate, Bristol, BS37 5NG
Salary: £14 - £17 per hour depending on experience
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday 08.00 – 16.30. Overtime available subject to workload.

Based in Yate, North Bristol, W H Bence is a manufacturer of specialist mobile facilities such as medical screening for Breast Screening, MRI, CT, Heart Catheterisation, Chemotherapy Clinics, Fire Appliances and Emergency Service Command Centres.

Due to increasing workloads we are looking to recruit an experience Carpenter to join our team. We are looking for a reliable, conscientious and hardworking individual.
Carpenter – Key Responsibilities:
The work will include but is not limited to:
- Making and fitting door linings and architrave
- Making and fitting bespoke cabinetry and furniture
- Fitting laminate and Corian worktops
Carpenter - You:
- The successful candidate will preferably hold a City & Guilds Qualification (or the equivalent) or be qualified by experience (minimum of 3 years in similar role)
- The candidate must be used to operating power tools including tables saws and routers and be able to understand 2D & 3D drawings
- You will also be expected to adhere to Health & Safety polices at all times
- Please note that due to the nature of this role regular lifting will be required
- A full driving licence is essential as you may be required to travel for work purposes from time to time
