Job Title: Carpenter - First & Second Fix
Location: Wimbledon, London
Contract: 4 Weeks (Immediate Start)
Rate: Competitive (Based on Experience)
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team for a 4-week contract in Wimbledon. This role will involve a variety of first fix carpentry and second fix carpentry tasks on a residential and commercial project, including installing doors, skirting, architraves, staircases, stud walls, flooring, and bespoke joinery elements.
Key Responsibilities:
· Carry out first fix carpentry works such as framing, stud partitioning, and fitting floor joists.
· Complete second fix carpentry tasks including hanging doors, fitting ironmongery, skirting boards, architraves, shelving, and other finishing details.
· Read and interpret technical drawings and plans to complete carpentry works to specification.
· Ensure all carpentry works meet high standards of quality and safety.
Requirements:
· Proven track record in first and second fix carpentry within residential and/or commercial construction.
· Valid CSCS Card (essential).
· Own carpentry tools and full PPE.
· Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail.
· Strong understanding of site health & safety procedures.

· Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
· Location: Wimbledon, London
