Annual Salary: £33,000 - £35,600
Location: Southampton and Basingstoke
Job Type: Full-timeWe are looking for an experienced and qualified Carpenter to join our Clients Property Team. This role is crucial in making a real difference in people's lives by ensuring the safety and quality of their housing.
Day-to-day of the role:
Carry out all forms of carpentry repairs.
Perform both 1st fix and 2nd fix carpentry tasks.
Install windows, doors, and door frames, both internal and external.
Handle UPVC servicing and installation.
Conduct locksmithing tasks including lock snapping, drilling, and picking.
Engage in various forms of fencing installations.
Fit and build kitchens, along with minor joinery tasks.
Undertake basic plumbing, plastering, tiling, decorating, and other general maintenance tasks as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven Carpentry experience
Minimum qualification: NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or at least 5 years of proven track record in the field.
Strong understanding of health and safety best practices.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Full and current driving licence with a minimum of 1 year's driving experience.
Ability to manage a company van for business use.
