Job Description
Thorn Baker Construction is looking for 4 experienced Roofing Carpenters or Joiners to join a busy refurbishment project in Banbury, Oxfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable construction firm. Key Responsibilities:
Install and repair roofs, mainly loft trusses, rafters, and timber framing
Read and interpret construction drawings and plans
Work confidently with both hand and power tools
Follow health and safety protocols, particularly when working at height
Deliver high-quality workmanship with attention to detail
Requirements:
Previous experience in roofing carpentry essential
CSCS card preferred but not essential
Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
