Job Description
Multiple Carpenters (hoarding works) needed in a site based near Baker Street Station
* Start Date: ASAP
* Duration: 1 week (5–7 shifts, with possible extension)
* Pay Rate: £28.00 per hour (CIS) – approx. £266 per day / £1,330 for 5 days
* Hours: 08:00 – 18:00 (9.5 hours paid per day)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter with a Blue CSCS Skilled Worker card to carry out hoarding works on a construction site near Baker Street (NW1). This is a short-term project lasting 1 week, with the possibility of extension.
The role involves erecting secure site perimeter fencing and hoardings, ensuring work is carried out safely and to specification.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Erecting timber hoardings and perimeter fencing.
* Setting posts/rails, fixing cladding, and installing pedestrian/vehicle access panels.
* Working to RAMS and site safety procedures at all times.
* Keeping the work area tidy and hazard-free.
* Ensuring hoardings are secure and compliant with site requirements.
Requirements
* Valid Blue CSCS Skilled Worker card (Carpentry & Joinery).
* Proven experience in erecting hoardings / temporary site works.
* Own tools: cordless kit, circular saw, impact driver, levels, hand tools.
* Full PPE (hard hat, safety boots, hi-vis).
* Ability to work safely at height.
* Right to Work in the UK and valid UTR for CIS payment.
