Location: Weymouth
Rate: £23.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
Department: Response Repairs – Maintenance Team
Vehicle: Van provided with maintained stock About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our Response Repairs Team in Hampshire. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality repairs, installations, and refurbishments across residential properties. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that work is completed safely, professionally, and in line with customer expectations.

You’ll be responsible for a wide range of carpentry tasks, including but not limited to:
Hanging doors, glazing, scarfing
Fitting architraves, skirting boards, and bath panels
Kitchen fitting and adjustments
Garage door maintenance and fitting
Lock changes and uPVC window fitting
Studwork, boxing, stairs, and bannisters
Performing on-site risk assessments
Accurate recording of work using handheld PDA systems
Managing van stock and ensuring cost-effective use of materials
Collaborating with other trades where necessaryWhat You’ll Need
NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience in a similar multi-skilled carpentry role
Knowledge of British Standards and best trade practices
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Experience using mobile technology (PDAs or smartphones) for scheduling and job completion
Full UK Driving Licence
