Job Description
Experienced Carpenter (Chippy) - Bassingbourn 🔨
Location: Bassingbourn, Royston
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 3 months with possibility of extension
Rate: £24-£25 Umbrella PAYE
We're currently recruiting for experienced carpenters to work on a refurbishment project of MOD houses in Bassingbourn. This is a great opportunity to be part of a long-term project with consistent work.
Role Requirements:
Proven experience in 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
Confident working independently and as part of a team
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Own tools and PPE
CSCS card (preferred)Duties Include:
1st fix: stud walls, door frames, flooring
2nd fix: hanging doors, skirting, architraves, kitchen fitting
Working to high standards on a live MOD siteWhat We're Looking For:
Reliable and skilled tradespeople
Strong attention to detail
