Location: Birmingham
Rate: £23.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Duration: Minimum 3 months (potential for extension)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Carpenter with additional skills in minor plumbing works to join our maintenance team operating across Birmingham. This role involves carrying out a range of domestic and social housing repairs, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake all aspects of carpentry including door hanging, skirting, architraves, and general maintenance repairs.
Carry out minor plumbing tasks such as replacing taps, repairing leaks, and similar small-scale works.
Work independently and efficiently while maintaining a professional approach in occupied and void properties.
Adhere to health and safety standards and company policies at all times.
Complete all relevant documentation and reports accurately.
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence with no more than 5 points.
NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Carpentry or valid CSCS card.
Demonstrable experience in both carpentry and minor plumbing works.
Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
Previous experience within domestic or social housing environments is advantageous.
What We Offer:
Competitive hourly rate of £23.00 per hour.

Full-time position, Monday to Friday - no weekend work required.
Initial 3-month contract with strong potential for extension.
