Job Purpose:
To deliver high-quality teaching and assessment in Carpentry and Joinery, supporting learners from Entry Level to Level 3. The role includes preparing engaging, industry-relevant sessions, supporting student progress, and contributing to curriculum development in line with current trade practices and standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver practical and theoretical lessons in Carpentry and Joinery.

Assess and track student progress, ensuring timely feedback and support.
*
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and professional workshop environment.
*
Contribute to curriculum planning, development, and continuous improvement.
*
Engage with employers and industry partners to support student progression and employability.
*
Support students’ personal development, behaviour, and welfare.
Essential Requirements:
*
Level 3 qualification (or above) in Carpentry and Joinery or a related trade.
*
Recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
*
Industry experience in Carpentry and/or Joinery.
*
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
*
A commitment to safeguarding and supporting all learners
