Job Title: Part-Time Carpentry Lecturer (Level 2 Carpentry & Joinery)
Location: Canterbury
Contract: Part-time
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpentry Lecturer to teach and assess Level 2 Carpentry & Joinery students. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching, training, and assessment across a range of learning environments, while supporting learners to reach their full potential.
You will also play a key role in designing, delivering, and evaluating programmes of study, ensuring an engaging and effective learning experience for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach, train, and assess learners on the Level 2 Carpentry & Joinery programme.
Deliver high-quality sessions covering 1st Fix, 2nd Fix, and structural carcassing.
Provide support, guidance, and feedback to learners to help them achieve their qualifications.
Lead on designated study programmes, ensuring effective planning, delivery, and evaluation.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and practices.Essential Requirements:
Significant industry knowledge and experience in 1st Fix, 2nd Fix, and structural carcassing.
TAQA Assessor Award (essential).
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Commitment to supporting and motivating learners.Desirable:
Previous teaching or training experience within further education or vocational training.
