Job Description

Case Reviewer (11-Month Contract) Location: Dublin, Ireland Contract: Full-Time, Fixed Term (11 Months) Are you passionate about online safety, digital rights, and fair decision-making? Join Appeals Centre Europe and help shape the future of online regulation by reviewing user appeals against social media platform decisions. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, policy, and regulation in a fast-growing and purpose-driven organisation. What You'll Do ● Review appeals relating to enforcement decisions made by social media platforms. ● Assess content against platform policies and platform stated principles and guidelines. ● Determine appeal eligibility and support fair, consistent outcomes. ● Escalate complex cases where required. ● Collaborate with policy, quality, and operational teams to deliver high-quality decisions. ● Build expertise in content governance, online safety, and digital regulation. What We're Looking For ● Professional experience in contemt moderation. ● Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail. ● Interest in technology, digital policy, law, human rights, or online safety. ● Understanding of social media platforms and online content moderation. ● Strong communication skills and the ability to make balanced decisions. ● Fluent English and proficiency in at least one additional language. ● Ability to work professionally with sensitive or challenging content.
