CASEMAKER / PRINTER SLOTTER OPERATOR
WEST YORKSHIRE
SALARY: OPEN DEPENDING ON THE LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE
LATE SHIFT - 2PM TO 10PM
Our client is a very well established, independent Corrugated Packaging company based in West Yorkshire, they are looking to recruit an experience Casemaker / Printer Slotter Operator to work on a fixed late shift (2pm-10pm)
Responsibilities:
Ensure all work is carried out safely and all equipment is in a safe & serviceable condition
Enforce and promote safety and housekeeping in your area of work
Report any safety and hazard faults to the relevant person
Ensure customer quality standards are always maintained, including colour control on printed cases, die cut cases are matched to spec, glue gaps are controlled/consistent
Have a rapid response to machine failures and breakdowns
Keeping the Line Manager informed of work progress
Ensure cleaning schedules are rigidly adhered to and meet the agreed schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly checks)
Employ continuous improvement techniques and share best practice with colleagues
Demonstrate flexibility to cover absence and sickness as required
Work in other areas of the casemaker department as and when required
