Job Description
Our client is looking for experienced Caseworkers to support a high-priority government programme assisting eligible Afghan nationals and their families who supported UK operations. This is a sensitive, high-impact role within the Defence sector, requiring sound judgment, policy adherence, and emotional resilience.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage cases in line with government policy, ensuring fair, well-documented decisions.
*
Analyse complex information from multiple sources.
*
Handle confidential and sometimes distressing material with professionalism.
*
Meet daily case targets while maintaining accuracy and quality.
*
Engage with stakeholders and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
*
Ensure compliance with data protection policies.
Essential Criteria:
*
Active SC Clearance (no restrictions) and Sole UK National (dual nationals not eligible).
*
Solid casework experience in structured or policy-based environments.
*
Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
*
Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.
*
Resilient and empathetic, with the ability to make policy-driven decisions.
*
Familiarity with Data Protection requirements.
Desirable:
*
Background in Home Office, policing, or immigration.
*
Experience handling complex or sensitive cases.
Working Arrangement:
*
Hybrid: Onsite induction (10 days), then 1–3 days per week in Whitehall office.
*
No travel expenses – candidates must be London-based.
