Cash and Banking Manager | Birmingham (Hybrid)
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000

Are you an experienced finance professional with a strong background in cash and banking operations? Our client, a leading organisation within the professional services, is seeking a dynamic Cash and Banking Manager to join their Client Finance team based in Birmingham.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a high-performing team in a hybrid working environment, supporting critical client money and banking services while ensuring full compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the Cash and Banking team, promoting a culture of high performance, professional development, and excellent client service.
Oversee cash management processes including bank reconciliations, allocation of cash received, and the management of unallocated funds.
Maintain compliance with internal controls, client requirements, and relevant regulations (including RICS Client Monies).
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure service delivery standards are met and continuously improved.
Contribute to internal and external audits, providing expert insight and ensuring readiness.
Actively participate in projects and system developments to support ongoing innovation and efficiency.
About You
Qualified or part-qualified (e.g.CICM, CIMA, ACCA), or qualified by experience with a minimum of 3 years in a relevant role.
Proven experience managing a cash and banking team in a property management or similar professional services environment.
Strong understanding of client money processes and regulatory requirements.
Confident communicator with excellent leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
Highly organised, commercially aware, and solutions-focused.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with knowledge of property management systems (e.g., Trace Tramps, Yardi, Qube Horizon) being highly desirable.
