Are you a friendly and professional individual with a knack for multitasking? We are seeking a temporary Receptionist to join a busy solicitors' office to cover holiday leave. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a legal environment while providing essential support to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a busy switchboard, directing calls to the appropriate departments and ensuring all inquiries are handled efficiently.
Greet clients and visitors warmly, providing a professional first impression of our firm.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely distribution.
Assist with general administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry.
Maintain a tidy and organised reception area.
Support legal teams with scheduling appointments and managing calendars.What We're Looking For:
Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role, preferably within a legal or professional services environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong customer service orientation.
Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficient in using standard office software and phone systems.
A proactive approach with the ability to anticipate needs and address them promptly.
