Job Description
Are you passionate about helping people build confidence in the water? Comfortable in a swimming baths and confident guiding others through their swimming journey - from floating to freestyle?
We're looking for enthusiastic Swimming Instructors to join our team and deliver high-quality lessons through the Swim England Learn to Swim Pathway. Whether you're helping someone swim their first length or refine their technique, your support makes a real difference.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading engaging, safe, and structured lessons for all ages
Using your knowledge of Swim England's framework to guide learners
Supervising participants and ensuring poolside safety at all times
Encouraging progress, celebrating achievements, and handing out the occasional badge (and yes, they matter!)
Setting up and tidying away poolside equipment - because nobody likes floating noodles in the deep end
What We're Looking For
A Level 2 Swimming Teaching Qualification (or equivalent)
NRASTC or NPLQ
Strong communication and motivational skills
A calm, patient approach and the ability to adapt to different learners
Someone who can keep cool under pressure
